The Winter Weekend Uniform
London has got some heavy snow forecast for today and the rest of this weekend and temperatures haven't creeped above 3 degrees all week. Strangely, I am not complaining as it has finally given us a break from the monotonous rain and grey weather. I've got an excuse to hibernate today as I caught the dreaded man flu from my husband and feel too sick to function. So apart from a shopping trip to Oxford Street with a friend this weekend, I have kept my weekend plans very low key as I intend to spend most of it with my feet up on the radiator and a large cup of hot chocolate in my grasp. Slouchy jumpers, woolly hats and leather boots will be my uniform of choice.

Just started snowing in Hampstead - sounds like we have similar plans for the weekend. Just wish I had an extra 1000 pounds laying around to purchase that fabulous Reed Krakoff hobo bag.

ReplyDeleteLooks like a chic outfit for just hanging around! The flu has hit our area pretty hard but thankfully we'll be escaping it by heading to the slopes this weekend. Plenty of cold weather and snow around here! Hope you have a peaceful, restful weekend!

Oh no! I hope you feel better soon! I wish we would get some snow, I love how calm everything looks after a snowfall but I get fed up about the dirty slush on the streets that follow pretty soon.
