Tuesdays are usually the day that I give the blogging world a little insight into what I have been up to on the weekends. Well, if I had to post what I’ve really been up to, you would fall asleep on your keyboard. Think endless lists, running errands, eating junk, sleeping, not sleeping, watching Judge Judy, Buckwild and other various brain-rotting activities. It’s not pretty folks. And it’s certainly not camera worthy. In the absence of anything seriously interesting to post, I’m posting some beautiful pictures that my husband took of a spiky plant. Totally random but I am pretty sure he has a fall-back second career.
Monday Snoop – a Tanzanian hideaway…
Monday 29 April 2013
And so begins another week. My weeks have been a little crazy lately so I have spent the weekends overindulging more than I probably should. Yesterday, I made my way to my local health food store, bleary eyed, hoodie clad and generally feeling sorry for myself. I’m now stocked up on various over-priced lotions and potions that promise to erase my guilt and get me on the straight and narrow. So I am healthy. I am calm. I am zen. And to go with my zen-like state, I wanted to post about a Tanzanian hideaway I found on my internet travels. Soft neutral colours and natural earthy elements surrounded by wildlife… could it get any better? Here’s to a very zen week!

Pretty playful
Friday 26 April 2013
Ladies, it’s one of those Fridays were I don’t have any wise or witty words. Just pretty things, like this playsuit I found on Polyvore. I spotted it and thought it could do with some accessories. So I accessorised it.
Happy Friday All!
Dining in Bali…
Thursday 25 April 2013
My best friend recently saved some money, packed in her high-flying job and decided to travel the world with her boyfriend. I don’t think I have ever been more jealous of anyone (but ecstatic for them at the same time). My inbox pinged with an email from her yesterday (current location: Bali), she regaled me with tales of midnight volcano walks, sunrises, diving, wonderful travelling companions and incredible street food. There were photos too. This all whilst I was elbow deep in old drawings, submission papers and general work misery. In my mind, I had already checked out and travelled to Bali. In homage to my friend and my virtual travels yesterday, I wanted to post about an enchanting restaurant, apptly located in Seminyak, Bali. Introducing the lovely Bistrot…

Exposure…
Wednesday 24 April 2013
The weather has turned wonderfully warm and sunny in London and I am ridiculously pleased that I was able to wear open-toed shoes yesterday (I had completely forgot about the pleasures of flip flops). In an effort to get ready for the summer and help alleviate some of my stress, I have been on a frantic tidying mission. Boxes of penny coins were taken to be exchanged (£18 in total, big woop), flippers and broken bags were chucked out and laptop folders were cleared out. This took a little longer because of course, I spent more time ogling than sorting. I found a very fetching collection of exposed brick walls in my sort out and instead of deleting it, I thought I would immortalise it here on my blog.
Fuerteventura – The Stragglers
Tuesday 23 April 2013
I promise that this is the last of our photos from Fuerteventura! These are just the stragglers that I found when cleaning up the laptop, and since the weather was very wet last week, I found myself pining for the Spanish sunshine all over again. Luckily London is due for some warm weather later in the week so I can finally start unpacking the flip flops and picnic gear!
