So it’s Monday morning and I am yet to recover from my very fetching winter cold, complete with hacking cough and runny nose. It’s also been snowing for 3 days straight and the South African in me is screaming to go out and play in it but I have been pretty much out for the count for the whole weekend. On the plus side, I have had plenty of time to do some internet snooping around other people’s homes. The West London Edwardian home of interiors stylist Melanie Molesworth caught my eye. Filled to the brim with interesting collections and charm, it totally won me over. It also seems to have the perfect balance of neutrals and bright colours.
What do you think?

ReplyDeleteI am loving that it looks so liveable.
ReplyDeleteThe staircase...very similar to ours...ours is tucked behind a door...ours is also painted....would love to try painting the "runner" for a great look!

ReplyDeleteLove the outdoor area, could see myself spending my summer there. I am also a big fan of the staircase, looking for inspiration to paint ours. I hope you feel better soon!
ReplyDeleteI just read on the design gratis blog where she likens london at the moment to "Narnia". Must be very pretty- but I would much rather be in a sun filled space where the windows have to be open, like the one you've chosen here.
ReplyDeletePS- feel better soon!
Love it. It has a gorgeous homely, cosy fell while still be really stylish. x Hope you're feeling better soon. x
