Have you ever walked into a shop and been drawn to an item like a seagull on a chip? Well I experienced that very thing on a recent cheeky lunchtime visit to Forever 21. Subject: fur-lined leather moccasins. Price: £16.50 Prognosis: immediate purchase. Common consensus amongst colleagues and husband: said mocs are actually slippers.
I don’t care, I’m still rocking them as shoes :)

ReplyDeleteUGGS are actually slippers too (the ones seen all over UK high streets) and the Australians are having a good laugh at the British for wearing them in Winter and getting wet feet... These moccasins are a LOT nicer though and I would be tempted to wear them as shoes too ;-) Have a lovely weekend xo

ReplyDeletei love the mocassins. i actually wear mine as slippers by default (i also mainly wear my uggs as slippers too) but i am not scared to wear them out they are shoes if they have rubber soles! I love the beaded tops, those are my favorites.

ReplyDeleteAren't they so comfy, Meghan? My husband and I both have them as slippers, but he also has a pair with the sole that is harder for if you do walk outside. I wear them all day when I'm at home.

ReplyDeleteI suppose Brits do say that moccasins are slippers but if the day is fine, you can where them as shoes .. ..I love the first comment by Carole .."the British and UGGS" .. so funny .. I don't have a pair .. but know lots of people that do .. so common here.
The moccasins are super cute and you see a lot of girls wearing them as shoes on the street. You can totally rock those on the street, don't let anyone spoil them for you ;)
