Devon, here we come!

Thursday 15 March 2012

I don’t often think about my passport. It’s just another piece of official paperwork that enables me to prove my age and leaves me stressed out when travelling, but when it goes missing I realise how very valuable it is! Fortunately my passport is safe and sound but my trusty travelling partner had to hand his in to get his visa extended. That was six very long weeks ago, and of course it came at a time when we desperately need a holiday (things have been a little testy in our household to say the least)! Ideally, we would love to have a week of sun, sea and piña coladas but at this point, we are grounded. So we have booked the next best thing by spending a few days in the beautiful coastal county of Devon. I did some research and was totally bowled over by it’s beauty, fingers crossed the weather holds!

Have you been to Devon? Any recommendations?

  6. PS- had my passport stolen once- not cute. But, 6 weeks without one for official business is not so bad I think.
