Reflective Photography

Tuesday 31 May 2011

This is a bit of a random post from me on a Tuesday but I have come to realise that blogging has highlighted my inability to take a decent photo! Week through week I go through my photos only to find most of them are skew, poorly lit or my personal favourite – my finger right over the lens! So I find myself increasingly in awe of people who are able to capture life’s various moments beautifully! I am hoping to buy myself a snazzy new camera and do a short photography course, and then maybe I can produce something like these photos below. Ha ha, wishful thinking I know!

  3. These pics are PERFECT for a day like today. I am so worn out from this past weekend and still getting back into the workweek mode. :)

  4. The thing about really gorgeous photos is that most are tricks of editing software. :)

  8. I am going through the same thing right now-with just a silly point and shoot I think we can't be blamed. Right? :) I'm trying to find a new-to-me upgrade and hope that will make a difference-would love to hear about where you found a great photography class, though!

  9. Just incredible images! I was just giving my niece some advice about composing a photograph. I told her to try to take pictures that evoke one of your senses other than your sight. A photo that can bring to mind a scent or a sound is very powerful. I'm an artist not a photographer so that was just my idea but I think that all of these photos do that!

  11. That is funny: since I started blogging I also found out that I am a bad photographer! Well so I have been taking lessons now... maybe I will get better but I also get amazed with the art of those photos, love your choices!

    Hugs & kisses from Rio!

  12. There is a lot of beautiful photography out there but you managed to find some extra special ones! These are truly stunning. I think in addition to talent these people have a lot of PATIENCE. I have watched them sometimes on my travels and these people sit there ALL DAY waiting for the perfect light, etc...I couldn't do that, let alone have the talent! It is an incredible art - thanks for sharing these beautiful examples!
