It’s been a while since I featured a stellar chair on Wishful Thinking. I am about to rectify that today. You bloggers have been torturing me with gorgeous chairs I can’t have: tolix, egg chairs, chesterfields, dome chairs – you name it, I have lusted over it. Well how about we add another one to the mix. Something with clean and curvy yet classic lines. Something that makes my heart go pitter patter. Hans Wegner’s wishbone chair. Isn’t she lovely?
Love them! Yes, I would love to have these in my home, though I have to admit that - since space is an issue - they might be just this little bit too wide around my table... hmmm... :-) Have a lovely day xo
ReplyDeleteOne of my all time favourite chairs, it's such a classic I will never tire of it. Thanks for all the inspiration! /Niki
ReplyDeleteThis chair is definitely droolworthy. Can I have one in each color? ;)
ReplyDeleteI agree - they really are gorgeous especially the natural colour (although all the ones you featured are lovely.) I think I have a thing about stylish chairs...the tulip Saarinen, Bentwood, Eames there are so many.

Oh I think I like the neon ones the best, even though it's a 'trendy' thing. You can just strip the paint when it's not popular anymore
ReplyDeleteWishbone chair is one that I never fail to stare at and lust over while inside design furniture stores. I gaze at it thinking "someday"...it's an investment I'm willing to spend on one day in my dream home.
ReplyDeleteOh these chairs have always been a favorite of mine and they can obviously be matched with any table/island they are put beside. Such a classic!
ReplyDeleteSuch a gorgeous chair, I love the curved back, so sculptural. They look amazing in all your pics. x
ReplyDeletei love these chairs too. i think my favorite is in the light natural wood, it's just so perfect with the design. i'll take 6, please :)
