Distinguished Beauty!

Monday 1 October 2012

I always think twice before posting house tours from the big guns like Country Living and Houzz as I know they will be recycled repeatedly throughout blogland, but at the same time, I started my blog to serve as a source of inspiration not only for others but for me too. So apologies if you  have come across this antebellum home before – hopefully you won’t mind taking the tour again?! The first element to catch my attention was the unusual colour of the walls (note to self: buy vast quantities of Burlap by Ralph Lauren for my future home),and then of course my weakness for visual clutter had me falling head-over-heels for the vintage pewter items in the dining room cabinet, and then let’s not forget to mention that breath-taking gallery wall of pressed wildflowers!

Any thoughts?
