Tuesday Snoop – A condo with a difference…

As I mentioned yesterday, we had a weekend of gloriously warm weather. I am now proudly sporting the first hints of a summer tan. And should I mention that it’s only a four day week for me? All in all, I am feeling quite holiday-ish. I am hoping to spread this feeling by showing you a light, spacious and bright condo from none other than Brazil. I got so many wonderful ideas from this place that I fully intend to implement in my dream home, like the timber slatted room divider, the hammock in the bedroom and the rug on the living room wall. But for me, the pièce de résistance has got to be that outside area. I can easily see myself sipping some wine with my feet up, watching the twinkly sail boats as the sun goes down.

It’s a bank holiday here in the UK. The sun is shining. I am at home. My feet are up. All is right with the world.

Jump around…

Now that summer is finally on its way, I can focus on the good stuff. Shorts, hats, t-shirts, dresses, skirts, flats. It feels so good to say [type] those words. From now on wool, jumper, coat, umbrella and tights will be dirty words round here, OK? One such summer item I am looking forward to wearing is my romper (I posted a posh dressy one here last week). They are comfy and surprisingly stylish, another bonus is that they can be dressed up or down. Not everyone’s cup of tea I know, but take a look at these babies…

In full bloom

I was still in gardening mode when I put together today’s post. So it’s no surprise that I went a little nutty for this wedding I am about to show you. I know most of us are suckers for a beautiful wedding but after a while, they do tend to look somewhat similar. This is certainly not the case for Ryan and Michelle’s special day. It’s got quirk, colour and a whole lot of whimsy. The bridesmaid’s dresses immediately caught my eye, unconventional yes, but absolutely stunning! All in all, it’s a wedding that reminded me so much of spring that I couldn’t NOT post it, right?

Hand me that olive branch…

Thanks for putting up with my creative block yesterday everyone. We have a bank holiday coming up this weekend and I am hoping to get back into the swing of things. Our grass looks like some sort of exotic jungle and we are one broken plastic lawn chair away from resembling a crack den, so the thankless task of gardening is on the cards. You all know how much I hate gardening so I won’t bore you with the details but let’s just say that I am famed for growing sticks. That aside, I have my heart set on an olive tree to liven up my kitchen window (if you listen closely you might just hear the collective gasp of olive tree victims all around the world). Has anyone ever had one? Are they difficult to kill? Are they needy or suicidal? They sure do look pretty!
