Where are the pictures of London you ask? Where indeed. Well we’ve been having a bit of this:

And some more of this:

And just when you are filled with a false sense of hope because you can see the sky a little bit, this happens some more:

Things have been a little woesome in our house lately but apart from the abysmal weather and lack of hot water, we have some very exciting things on the horizon (more about that later), in the meantime, a little something arrived from the postman last week…

SONY DSCThis little guy has been awol since the beginning of February.

Of course celebrations ensued, vast quantities of food were eaten and several bottles of wine were opened. When our sore heads recovered, we got straight down to business and finally booked a much-needed holiday to Portugal. It will be my first time to Portugal and I am beyond excited!  Looks pretty darn amazing, doesn’t it?

  1. Ooh, you lucky things! That looks amazing. One of the great things about living in England is that you're pretty close to a lot of incredible travel destinations. Funnily enough, our Autumn is almost better than our Summer - we've been enjoying lots of beautiful sunshine. xxx

  2. I currently live in Spain which is about a 1.5 hour drive to Portugal where we go often; even just for Saturday lunch sometimes. You will LOVE Portugal ;-)

  3. Sound fabulous ... the Portugal thing, not the English weather! I'm counting on you to take endless photos and sharing with us.

  4. that is awesome! yay for vacations - can't wait to see your pictures from it.

  5. Portugal is on my list of places to visit some day. You have found some stunning pics, as usual, Meghan - colorful and scenic! By the way, thank you for your very kind comments on my blog - very much appreciated always.
