Coastal dreaming…

Monday 9 April 2012

It’s a typical Bank holiday here in London today i.e. pouring rain and blustery winds, which means I am homebound today catching up on Blogging. I thought it would be a good idea to take us somewhere warm, beautiful and coastal for a change - a bonus is that it might help with recovering from a severe food-and-chocolate-overdose! First up is a spectacular coastal home located on one of the most beautiful towns/developments I have ever comes across, Palmetto Bluff, South Carolina (do yourself a favour and check out the link, it will have you swooning). Nestled amongst lush greenery and just a stone’s throw away from the river, the house blends in perfectly with its surroundings. The interiors are both neutral and serene and the owners describe their style as “less-is-more, simple-but-elegant”.

I think I am in love… what do you think?

  4. You know, stormy windy days make the best days off sometimes- because you then feel like "oh, I guess I have no choice but to lounge around all day today..." Enjoy!

  14. Wow! I love the simplicity of this coastal home. The usage of white and wood is stunning! What I love about South Carolina is its epic view. Not just its natural beauty, but all those complex structures. And this townhouse is just one of the structural marvels the place has to offer.
