A country retreat to rival no other….

Monday, 16 April 2012

I think I have found my dream house! No really, I know I have said this many many times before, but this is it! It’s got pretty much everything I need want for a home. For example: a light and airy kitchen complete with hanging pots and open display cabinets, bookcases and shelves filled with interesting organised clutter, beautiful table lamps and textiles, warm distressed timber and the odd splash of colour. The outside is even more intriguing with a kitchen garden that puts my sad veggie patch to absolute shame, wide open pastures and even a chicken coup made from an old cupola!

What more could you want really?

  1. What's not too love?! It's so gorgeous and rustic and homely. I especially love the chaise in the 2nd photo, the 3 beds in the attic room, and the cat on the chicken coop : ) xxx

  9. They're all great pictures. The idea of fresh eggs makes me happy because that would mean a cute little chicken house for them to live in. I just dont think my neighbors would be too happy about it.
