Over the weekend, for the first time in a loooonnngg time, we didn’t have exams to study for or assignments to hand in, so off we went to the market! Most of the big cities I have been to have their own huge food market that serves as a tourist attraction as well as somewhere to buy food – well Borough Market is London’s big food market. I always forget how busy it gets there but I was able to snap a couple of photos to show you the madness! I had a driving lesson in the afternoon so I wasn’t able to indulge but they sell champagne and cocktails by the glass for you to wonder around, get liquored up and buy stuff you don’t need. Sounds great huh?

This pub just outside the market was Bridget Jones’ flat in the movie! That was her apartment right at the top!

I love Borough Market and always spend far too much money there on very nice food. Have a great weekend, Love from South of the River xo
ReplyDeleteI'm obsessed with Bridget! I also love how Sydney's experiences and architecture reflect what you experience in the Mother Country~
