Monday Snoop – City Swank

Monday 1 July 2013

I spent some of Saturday morning scrolling through my blog carrying out some general maintenance and I came to the startling conclusion that something was missing from it… Sweden. There was a time on Wishful Thinking when I featured at least one Scandinavian beauty a week but it’s been ages since my last feature. Obviously this needed to be rectified so I went searching, and unsurprisingly, I didn’t have to go searching too far before I found something Swedish that piqued my interest. Let me introduce you to this swanky city apartment set over 3 floors right in the centre of Stockholm. If the outside didn’t make you weak at the knees, then the inside is sure to win you over. It’s darker and moodier than I would usually go for but with soft lighting and modern furniture, it just works for me.

How about you? Could you picture yourself in front of that fireplace on a cold, snowy night?

  1. OMG, that's gorgeous! The rug in front of the fire is top of my wish list, there is a similar one at West Elm. And I love the long bench seat in the kitchen area. x

  3. I wasn't sold until we got to the roof: that inside dining space with the views onto the balcony, LOVE! I could totally sit there with my laptop and type away furiously all day, warm and toasty inside. I love that bench in the kitchen, too. Super comfy spot to hang out while people make dinner! xo

  4. Every corner is gorgeous! So funny, I'm looking for that exact table lamp in the living area and I'm hoping to use it for a project. I also love the pendant lamps in the breakfast nook. Who would have thought B&B Italia Fat Fat Table will work well as a bedside table? :) Great post, Meghan. I really love your taste in interiors.
