Dark and Stormy Cooking

Wednesday, 3 July 2013

Inspired by the dark and moody city apartment I posted about on Monday, I went in search of some similar kitchens to feed my ever-present kitchen obsession. I’m not sure why I am drawn to these cosy and snug images when in just a matter of weeks, I will be basking in sunshine. Nostalgia maybe? In any event they are on my mind. Of course in reality, I would prefer something much lighter and brighter but that’s why I love the internet, not only do you get to daydream about the impractical, but you get to blog about it too!

  1. There is something so rustic and romantic about a dark and stormy kitchen...HAve you seen the blog Manger? http://mimithorisson.com
Now this is a blog with a dark and stormy kitchen. A bit of a fairy tale life, but I enjoy!

  2. Love those dark kitchens although I might not go that route myself if I had to choose. On the other hand the last image really tickles my fancy.

  11. In my home I love brightness, but I do love visiting restaurants + bar lounges that have the cozy dark and stormy vibe.
