Addictive attic bathrooms…

Wednesday, 12 June 2013

Don’t you think Pinterest should come with a warning? Something along the lines of “WARNING: Highly addictive. Don’t start pinning if you have other crap to do!” I fell victim to the bottomless time pit that is Pinterest over the weekend. It started with the first image below of a jaw-dropping attic bathroom. My curiosity was instantly piqued and I went on a search for other attic bathrooms (I’m not even sure why as I don’t even have an attic bathroom) but after collecting these images, an attic bathroom is now firmly on my must-have-for-the-dream-house list.

  1. I'd LOVE an attic bathroom! Could you imagine?! I love sloping ceilings they always add something to the room.

  2. My boyfriend's got an attic room and he's forever banging his head on the ceiling! He was mildly concussed the other day when he knocked his head on the corner of the velux window. They look pretty but they're not very practical! xx

  3. It's like your own private sanctuary. My brother's old house had a bathroom on the top floor, not really the attic, but there was a sloping ceiling in the shower, it was so cosy! I loved housesitting for him just to take advantage of all that subway tile and slanted walls. xo

  4. I already spend too munch time in my bathroom, and it's nothing pretty or fancy. Just a plain and very small bathroom. cold in winter and hot in summer. I think I would probably even sleep or eat in one of those bathrooms above... I would never get out.

  6. We once stayed in a chambres d'hôtes in French Brittany with an attic room and bath. It was interesting staying there. The designs you've posted are charming especially the 3rd and 4th photos.

  12. This is astonishing my eye's stuck to see this amazing refuge. My elder brother old house had a bathroom on the 2nd floor. I always feel awesome because it was snug. Every one feel better taking a bath, of course I love these. My present laundry set up isn't useful, Can I turned it into bathroom conversions ?? Give me valuable suggestion please.
