Coastal Living

This past weekend I was determined to spend some of my hard earned money sprucing up the house. Of course, I wasn’t able to find anything I liked! Don’t you just hate when that happens? With my money burning a hole in my pocket I took to shopping online and came across a cute (and very affordable) coastal accessory range from John Lewis. Here are my favourites…

Nautical

1. Bottles in wooden box; 2. Hurricane Bastille lantern; 3. Driftwood mirror; 4. Glass bottle with stopper; 5. Vase; 6. Wooden votive holder; 7. Ceramic fish jar; 8. Hanging fish; 9. Lighthouse print; 1o. Zinc heart box; 11. Bunting

  1. I am SO having a coastal inspired home no matter where i live in the future. if not straight beachy, at least minimalistic with tans and light blues and the color palette.

i've added john lewis as a favorite website for future use

  4. I loved shopping in JL when I lived in London. My favorites here would be the hurricane, the mirror and the bottle.

  5. I'm so used to seeing lovely things all the way over in America that my heart leapt for joy to see these British lovelies!! Good old John Lewis!! I love it! Rumour has it that they might be opening one near us in Oxford. I do hope so!

The things you've picked out look awesome.

  6. I love all of the things you chose, especially the lighthouse print. I can't tell you the number of times I've gone shopping with money to spend and can't find anything I like- just like you! There are also many times when I can't spend money and it seems as though I love and want everything I see. Go figure!

  7. Love these! All of these would be so perfect in my sister's house; she has a beachy theme. It's so frustrating that when ever I have no money to spend I find a million things I'm just dying to have, but when I've actually got some money I can't find a thing. Why is that?! I'm glad you got lucky online- your finds are great!

  9. I like number one! Everything is so pretty and saily. It makes me think of northern parts of the east coast instead of my Florida coast...we're all seashells and flamingos down here...not very chic.

  15. oh gorgeous collection! i hate when that happens - money to spend and there is nothing you want, no money to spend and you'd happily buy everything! glad im not the only one :)

  16. Lol. That always happens to me too. When I finally have some money set aside for something fun and frivolous for the house, I can't find anything good to spend it on!
Looks like you found some good stuff online to solve your problem :)
