We are now pushing our way into what should be a crisp and chilly Autumn. Errrm someone neglected to tell Sydney that because yesterday we baked down at the beach with temperatures hitting 27 degrees. The sun was hot, the water was warm and there wasn’t even a breath of wind in the air. It sure is a far cry from the icy Autumns London used to throw at us. (LOVING it by the way)! But today has seen a change and a hoodie and brolly was required on our walk down to the beach to get our favoured Sunday coffee. We are currently tucked up inside, enjoying Anzac biscuits and movies while a red lentil curry simmers away in my new slow cooker. Man I love Sundays!
Oh my goodness, this is a beautiful post. Hope that red lentil curry was good.
ReplyDeleteIf only we had autumns with those temperatures in the UK ( or even summers!!!) I remember my Mum making Anzac biscuits - I must get the recipe from her!
ReplyDeletelove these images! enjoy - and hate to sound like an america but what the heck is a brolly?!?! lol.
ReplyDeleteThis has just made me question whether my Australian colleagues think I am a nutter every time I mention not having a brolly! Brolly = umbrella. I think it's an English saying but I am fairly sure I used it in South Africa too.
DeleteSundays are the best, aren't they?!
ReplyDeleteI definitely had a slow and lazy Sunday... the dreary, rainy weather did not help at all!
ReplyDeleteI had an incredibly lazy sunday! It was lovely.
