On a day-to-day basis, I favour ripped skinny jeans, combat boots and chunky necklaces. It’s what I feel most comfortable in. Saying that, the older I get, the more often I find myself having days where I want to both look and feel feminine. I doubt I will ever be the Legally Blonde look-alike but a pretty skirt here, and a girly pair of heels there seems to satisfy this need. Now peplums are all the rage, I have another item to add to my feminine days.
Have you jumped on the peplum bandwagon yet?

no no no no. it's too hot for skinny jeans and combat boots here, but that's still more me than these frilly things. horrible!!!! I too have my feminine days, but no.
ReplyDeleteno no no no.
:)
I don't think my hips would allow me to pull off the peplum look. BUT, I do like that cotton jacket above and I do like saying the word pelum!
ReplyDeleteI haven't jumped on this bandwagon yet, but it really is adorable on these gals...and really, doesn't BEE make everything look so chic and stylish??? I swear, that girl can pull off anything.
ReplyDeleteNo way and I do not need any more help adding junk to the trunk :)
ReplyDeleteOh those pink gingham shoes are stunning!!! I want a pair, where would one go? I'm sure there are none in Canada!!! Have a good weekend!!
ReplyDeleteThe peplum look is so pretty -- I'm a fan! :-)
ReplyDeleteI haven't yet but it does seem to be a nice solution to one of those bloated-feeling days :)
ReplyDeletei wasn't sure about it but i've def been drawn to it, i kind of like it!
ReplyDeleteSo cute. We don't seem to have a lot of peplums here in NZ, maybe they'll be here come spring/summer. They look great with a pair of skinnies or fitted pants. x
ReplyDeleteI can't say I have! Of course if I had a teeny tiny waist like the above hotties I would totally be on board :) Cute none the less!
ReplyDeleteI love how feminine and pretty this look is, but it's so hard to pull off if you're not model thing!
ReplyDeleteLove the look on skinny tall girls (isn't it always the way) but as a shortie with 'mothering' hips, I just don't think it would work on my figure. Wish I could pull this off though, these look great with skinny cropped trousers! x
