With the Olympics starting tomorrow, the city is beyond chaotic. There are hoards of people everywhere, traffic doesn’t move and just leaving the house has become a bit of a logistical nightmare. Yes, this is a moan, and I know it’s good for the economy and the city and I should be happy about it and blah blah blah but I just wish I was enjoying it from a distance! To ease the stresses and strains, I thought we could go on a little virtual trip to Paris. Here’s what I am thinking…

ReplyDeleteOh I would be excited to be within the hustle and bustle but then again, hoards of people are not exactly my thing. I hear it's warm in London as well! I hope you're able to get a mini break from all the action

ReplyDeleteParis is glorious! I would love to be in a city hosting the Olympics but I can say that because I am in NY and not in London experiencing any daily nuisances. It will be over before you know it. Enjoy the once-in-a-lifetime experience.
