My Fair London – South Kensington

Tuesday 13 March 2012

On a scale of stress levels from 1 (blissful) – 10 (OMG make it stop), last week was a big fat 10! So when the weekend came around, I came home and crashed and was asleep by 9.15. Oh the glamour of my life! I was so exhausted that I ended up spending all of Saturday wrapped up in bed. It was just what I needed but come Sunday, I started to get cabin fever. So we packed our new camera and headed off for a stroll in the sun around South Kensington. Even though the queues often snake around the block, we couldn’t miss a photo opportunity at the Natural History Museum – it truly is a magnificent building and always has me wondering why they don’t make them like that anymore! We rounded off the day with the new London craze of Snog: fat-free, sugar-free delicious frozen yoghurt that will leave you guilt-free but considerably poorer.

Here’s some snaps – we start with doors because we all know about my door obsession

  2. Ah, to live in South Kensington, eh? Unfortunately I don't even think a lottery win would be enough for the properties there...

I love "playing tourist" in London and even though I live here, I always feel there's new things to discover. The Natural History Museum building is amazing. I've spent quite a few afternoons there with my son especially when I have paperwork to get done at the French Consulat which is right opposite - very handy ;-)

    Have a lovely week xo

Snog ... OMG. I have a friend in London who sometimes describes for me something too delicious she's enjoying there and it feels like she's killing me softly! I think I need some Snog in my life ;-)

  6. I enjoy these photo sessions very much. And congrats on the new camera. I was surprised with a new camera as well, a Nikon D3100, and I'm hoping for sunnier weekends to take more photos. :) I see blossom trees already in your part of the world. :)
