Monday snoop – a bit of TLC…

Ugh. ugh. ugh. I hate to start the week on a negative note but my weekend was uber-stressful. Think endless form filling, rows with the husband and bone-deep exhaustion. But no matter what is going on in my life, I can always find solace and comfort in this little corner of my world. So how about we start the week with a laid-back, sun-drenched barn conversion on the outskirts of Castlemaine in Victoria’s goldfields. Originally an old miner’s cottage, the house is filled to the brim with second hand materials and fittings that complement and harmonise with the old house and the surrounding area. I am particularly a fan of that beautiful dining room.

  3. I like how every corner of this cottage screams "home." I'd love to curl up in that sofa and sip a cup of tea or have friends or neighbors over for an afternoon coffee in the dining area. Hope all goes well and wish that today turns into a complete opposite of your weekend. XX

  9. First off, it's PERFECT and I'd move right in. Those dining chairs! The patio chairs! The countertops! The white floor boards! Yes please, to all of it. Secondly, I'm so sorry you had a doozy of a weekend! It can only go up from here, right? xo
