Closest to Mars I’ll ever be…

When we weren’t lazing on the beach getting burnt chins (no names mentioned *ahem* Jordan), we headed inland to closer inspect the Mars-like landscape and test our skills driving on the wrong side of the road. Lying on the soft sand beaches with sparking blue water, it’s easy to forget that Fuerteventura is only 100km off the coast of Western Sahara… not so much when you head inland. It’s dusty (they are prone to dust storms) and extremely dry  and windy. The contrast between the coastal and inland scenery made for some beautiful pictures!

    Incredible landscape, so different to yesterday's photos. I love those snowy white buildings against the rustic backdrop. x
