I have to be honest and say that I don’t get women who say they don’t wear jewellery. Why not, I ask? To me, accessorising is as fundamental as putting on underwear before leaving the house. Even something as simple as a belt or a watch can make the world of difference to the overall look of an outfit. You can can go bold and dress them up or tone it down and keep them small and understated – it’s an aspect of my wardrobe that I definitely have the most fun with. And the best part about them? Accessories, like shoes, don’t care if you are having a ‘fat day’, they always fit and they always look good!
So how about you? Do you wear jewellery? Are you bold or understated?

I love bold and chunky but simple, if that makes any sense. nothing too embellished. would want to live without the finishing touches!
ReplyDeleteI'm sorry not no - everyone woman has to wear jewelry. I'm with you on that. come on ladies! I like wearing jewelry that's a little more delicate but with a statement piece. really like a lot of these photos.
ReplyDeleteI'm one of those women who wear very little jewelry. I always wear my watch and wedding ring, I feel naked without these too. But I don't feel the need to add something more on a daily basis. Less is more in my opinion, because this is what suits me. I can't wear earrings, so that's out of the question from the start, but I do have many statement necklaces and bracelets plus a very beautiful Swarowski necklace, a present from my parents on my 29th birthday, which I love and I alternate these whenever I feel in the mood. :)
ReplyDeleteOver the past year or so I've started accessorizing more. Still, I think I am more of an 'understated' gal in this department. Would love to rock a cuff sometime though.
ReplyDeleteI dont wear jewelry at all, with the exception of my wedding rings. Even for my wedding I only wore a simple pearl necklace and that's because I had a strapless dress that looked weird with nothing around my neck. I have started to appreciate jewelry more and will actually browse for it online and in stores, but I've never bitten the bullet and bought anything.
ReplyDeleteSometimes I find my wedding ring enough but I like adding a bracelet. Lately I've been hoping to find a chunky neckless that really speaks to me. Just haven't found the right one yet.
ReplyDeleteHave a wonderful weekend and thank you for your kind comment on my Lux post ;-)
I so agree! Like a great pair of shoes or a bag, jewelry can either make or break an outfit! Great nail polish is a must, too.

I'm all about BOLD BOLD BOLD, as long as its not overdone!!! I already have that MK watch pinned! I'm a girly girl, no denying it ;)
ReplyDeleteI love wearing jewelry, although sometimes less really is more....sometimes just my engagement band and my grandmother's earrings suffice, other times I choose bold turquoise necklaces and lots of bangles. That cartier bracelet in gold is definitely on my someday-wishlist :)
ReplyDeleteI LOVE some bold jewelry! Beautiful!
ReplyDeleteI like jewelry but my style tends to lean towards more delicate and dainty jewelry. Still, I love a statement necklace now and then!
ReplyDeleteBold statement pieces all the way!!!

I think I go through phases of wearing lots then barely wearing any! I think jewelry completes an outfit. These days, I'm into simple things...diamond studs & a simple necklace from the hubs for our first year anniversary.
ReplyDeletethese photos are so inspiring. I love this collection.
