Nope, you are not dreaming… we have a brand new sparkly look here on Wishful Thinking! You like? I’d love to take the credit for it’s awesomeness but it’s down to my fantastic fiancé who toiled day and night to get exactly what I wanted. I can’t say I was the best client, I bickered, bossed him around and eventually lost interest but he persevered and I am just thrilled with the result!
Now, back to business! Should we make Monday a little more bearable with a little sneak around someone else’s house? Not just any house, a (Swedish) farmhouse of course! Complete with red timber cladding, rolling manicured lawns and rustic ceiling beams. Oh, and if that wasn’t enough for you, the house comes complete with stables and enough room for several ponies!

A storybook cottage! My heart skipped a beat when I saw that open fire, and I love that the decor doesn't compete with the house.

ReplyDeleteOh, boy, that's a lovely house. The all-white shell is something I adore, and then they built up a homey spot with texture and colour and natural elements. Perfect!
ReplyDeleteLovin the new look Meghan!!! How lucky are you to have your man toil away at your blog site! I am in the works of revamping my site too but you won't see any changes until April. I have a good friend doing it so I must hedge on the nice side when getting frustrated. Although, I know that can happen from time to time, she has been pretty awesome making my vision happen. I'm liking the delicate herringbone design on the side bars. Have a great week!
ReplyDeleteNot sure about the animals but I do love the kitchen and the bench and fire

ReplyDeleteIt is almost midnight in NY and yes, I thought I was dreaming! It looks great. Very pretty color. The farmhouse is in an idyllic setting and is warm, cozy, inviting. I do like the dark wood incorporated and those amazing doors.
