Norah Head Lighthouse, Central Coast

I have a very peculiar fascination with flamingos, armadillos, big ships, power stations and lighthouses. A totally bizarre combination but all these things have the ability to leave me both awestruck and delirious with excitement at the same time. When it comes to big ships and lighthouses, I am lucky enough to have these fascinations indulged on an almost weekly basis. I have already dragged Jordan to pilgrimages to various lighthouses across New South Wales. My favourite so far has been the Norah Head Lighthouse at The Entrance on the Central Coast. Unlike some of the other ones I have seen recently, Norah Head was completely devoid of rotting wood and peeling paint, in fact it looked remarkably well cared for. Now for the next item on my bucket list… to stay in one!
