Monday snoop - what would a stylist do?

So it’s Monday morning and I am yet to recover from my very fetching winter cold, complete with hacking cough and runny nose. It’s also been snowing for 3 days straight and the South African in me is screaming to go out and play in it but I have been pretty much out for the count for the whole weekend. On the plus side, I have had plenty of time to do some internet snooping around other people’s homes. The West London Edwardian home of interiors stylist Melanie Molesworth caught my eye. Filled to the brim with interesting collections and charm, it totally won me over. It also seems to have the perfect balance of neutrals and bright colours.

What do you think?

  5. A lovely home and I agree about the right balance of neutrals and colour - and what a great choice of colour with the greens and purple shades. Hope you feel better soon.

The staircase...very similar to ours...ours is tucked behind a door...ours is also painted....would love to try painting the "runner" for a great look!

  12. I just read on the design gratis blog where she likens london at the moment to "Narnia". Must be very pretty- but I would much rather be in a sun filled space where the windows have to be open, like the one you've chosen here.
    PS- feel better soon!
