Autumn in Stockholm…

I think I am back from Stockholm. I say ‘I think’ as although my body is back in the UK, my mind is still firmly wandering the cobbled chilli streets of Stockholm, sipping [rather pricey] hot chocolate, soaking up the atmosphere. It was another amazing trip, and once again I found myself dragging my feet at the airport, whole-heartedly reluctant to get back on that plane to come home. I have millions of photos… yet again and I might just have to declare it “Swedish Week” here on Wishful Thinking next week as I am just brimming with clever Swedish posts. In the meantime, I will leave you with some of my favourite pictures we took of Stockholm, in all her autumnal glory! I was thankful for the thermals, the woolly socks and of course, the humble beanie because it was a balmy 7 degrees celcius most of the weekend. You won’t hear me complaining though because it meant the city looked a little something like this…

  8. Although Autumn is not my favourite season ,Summer is, I have to say that those coloured leaves are worth a look, is so much hot in Spain but we don't have such beautiful colours here. I know how you feel, had the same feeling last week after landing from Italy, get recovered and have a nice week!!

  9. Welcome home! Jet-lag can be super disorienting, especially when you had such a good time on the trip, it's like your brain refuses to get back on "normal" time. Beautiful photos! Who knew Stockholm got such vibrant leaves??
