Ah! The mighty maxi dress and maxi skirt! Aren’t they lovely? They are stylishly on-trend, keep you cool in the hot muggy months (still waiting for them) and they can hide any manner of abdominal-lack-of-exercise-evils quite nicely indeed. It took me some time to get over feeling a little too ‘mumsy’ wearing them but that is easily rectified by a pair of beautiful sandals, badass shades and my personal favourite, a denim jacket. I’ve got to say, this has got to be my favourite summer look.

Oh yes, a long skirt and a fitted, cropped denim jacket certainly takes you through summer (when we eventually get it!)LOL:)

ReplyDeleteTotally love maxi skirts. I have to say my favorite summer outfit right now are dressy shorts with a cute top. I have a ton of colors so I guess thats why but I also like my sunny dresses :)
ReplyDeleteI'm only 5 foot 4" so I am really conscious that the maxi makes me look shorter. Maybe it's just me and it's not so at all. But I always felt you had to have some height to carry it off, and not look like you were a dwarf without legs ;-)
