It’s been a little while since I took an exotic trip and believe me, that strain is starting to show. White sandy beaches, blazing sunshine and the smell of coconuts seem to be all I can think about lately! Of course I do what any other person would do, and torture myself even more by browsing through exotic travel brochures and websites. I started off in Bali and came across the Alila Villas in Uluwatu– I was initially attracted by the odd timber cage-like structures of the cabanas. It turns out that the rest of the hotel is rather spectacular!

Bali is high on my list of 'must go to' places, and it's very accessible to us here in New Zealand. Will have to remember these villas - gorgeous! x
