Want to take a trip?

Untitled-1Just in case you hadn’t guessed that our weather is crap.

Don’t judge, I know it could be worse but I am having a moan about the awful murky cold grey weather we have been having. It’s the kind of wet cold weather that turns your hair into a frizz ball instantly - it’s driving me nuts and it’s only November! To top it all off, it looks like bloggers around the world are having a mass exodus to the Caribbean. How come I didn’t get the memo? For those of you who haven’t been roasting yourself on the beach, want to pretend? I am still honeymoon planning and came across the Cocoa Island Resort in the Maldives. It’s way out of my league but there is no harm is pretending, is there? I do a lot of make-believe holidaying and this is probably one of the most picturesque destinations I have ever come across!

  1. Oh yes please, can I join you? ;-) Though I have to admit that I actually don't mind the grey weather at the moment - it's a good excuse to spend a lot of time drinking hot tea on the sofa and read. It's January that generally really gets me down... xo

  4. Heaven! Can I come along? The weather here is awful today after 16 degrees Celsius yesterday. I knew we had been spoiled too much. :)

  7. Seeing how I just got back from the tropics I probably have NO right to comment on this, but the places you found really are lovely!

  8. I am so with you on wanting to get away! I would love to escape to Bali for at least a week, but more like a month - now if only that fit in with reality and not just my dream world!
    Much love,

  15. I love posts like these because they allow one to escape for a few moments. We had wanted to honeymoon in the Maldives but there was not enough time (and good thing we did not even get into researching costs). This is idyllic..Thank you!
