One Word – Stunning!

Remember I told you about images that I revisit in my mind? Well there are websites I continually revisit to get inspired too. When I first came across South African interior designer John Jacob Zwiegelaar, it was love at first sight. There is just something about the combination of natural and rustic African elements combined with classic and sophisticated European furniture and textiles that makes my heart sing. It’s no wonder me (and other bloggers) stalk his website in hope of finding a new project. Imagine my excitement when I logged on this weekend to find this beauty:

  1. Amazing. I love how he keeps the colours quite subtle, allows him to really pull off the busyness of the rooms I reckon. Hope your week is off to a great start, Nicolex

  5. Okay, I'll be the one to not join his fan club, haha. In my opinion, this is way too cluttered. Less is more, less is more ... well, sometimes ;-)

  6. I'm with Lisa on this one, a little too cluttered for me, but I LOVE that terrace in the last two images. Have a great week! xo

  8. Holy crow!!!! Such a great space. I think they call those types of rooms "great rooms" for a reason! Can you imagine dusting all of that? I guess if you owned a home like that then you would have maids. :-)

  12. I think I'm still in shock from those gorgeous images...generally, I'm not in to spaces that are that busy, but for some odd reason, it just all *works*...and not just works, but works FABULOUSLY! Great find, I'm off to stalk (c:
