Have you ever travelled to a place that you revisit in your daydreams over and over again? You remember the smells, the food, the feeling of relaxation or wonderment when exploring? I spend a lot of time (probably far too much actually) daydreaming about my travels, but lately I keep on going back to Venice in my head. I rolled my eyes at my best friend when she called it ‘magical', only to think the very same thing myself from the moment I stepped off the airplane. I don’t really have the words to describe it, so I'll show you instead…

ReplyDeleteI haven't been to Venice specifically, but other parts of Italy and they too were completely magical. We're trying to get back there this fall, and will definitely add Venice to our list of stops. It looks so amazing!
ReplyDeleteI totally relate, and venice is one of those places to dream about. I have a reoccuring memory/daydream from 8 years ago when I travelled to venice. I was standing in St. Marks. One of the cafes was playing adelvice on the violin and I remember being so overwhelmed with the beauty of the moment that I cried actual tears.
