My Fair London – Harrods

Aaaannnnddd relax! That’s right people it’s Friday which means it’s time for my London post (click here for my original post). Ok, so I know Harrods is an obvious choice for a London attraction but it also happens to be one of my favourite places in the whole wide world!

I am very lucky to work a mere 10 minutes walk away so you can bet your last penny that you will find me there on my lunch breaks just sitting in the shoe department basking in their glory, or with my face pressed up against the glass at the confectionary counters. Now I’m not exaggerating when I say Harrods is massive, I regularly get lost and I don’t think I have seen all of it in one go, so it’s best to visit BEFORE you do any site seeing (take my advice, your feet will hurt). My favourite bits are the food halls (which smell glorious), the shoe department, the perfumery and a few months before Christmas, they open their Christmas shop, it is the stuff of legends!!

  2. So I've been to London twice, and never been to Harrod's! Isn't that just terrible ;) I need to make a return visit to London-there is so much to see, and I will make sure to bookmark your Friday posts to act as my guide!

  3. Ah that's a shame! It's awesome, you MUST visit it if you come back to London! I have lived in London for so long now, and I am still finding things I haven't seen (most of them are free too!)
