Crisis struck yesterday! Our washing machine has been sounding like something out of the Exorcist so we got the repairman to have a look at it and he left us a little note to say that it cannot be repaired! (It’s been out of action for over 2 weeks now!!) I have piles and piles of washing and nothing to wear! We have a new machine on order but who knows how long that will take! So last night (at some ungodly hour) we had to roll up our sleeves and handwash some essentials in the bath. It was back-breaking work and my hands are now raw - I have new found respect for woman pre-washing machine years! So today I am wishful thinking about fabulous laundry/utility rooms. I think this space is so often overlooked in a home, which is a shame because I think you could really have some fun with this area!?
