A store I could live in!

We all know how important an appealing shop front can be in attracting business but I think it’s equally important to ensure that your store is just as inviting and welcoming inside. All too often I find myself planning my shopping trips in order to spend as little time in certain shops as possible. My supermarket is uncomfortably cold, my favourite clothing store blares music so loud it makes me dizzy and my go-to shoe store has lighting so unflattering, I have to avert my eyes from any reflective surface. I doubt I would feel any of these things the new flagship Aigle store, located [unsurprisingly] in Paris.  Trust the Parisians to create a store that I want to live in.

  1. I agree that this is a beautiful, well-designed and inviting store. A shop I can spend hours in is Liberty in London. It has a relaxing feel in addition to the gorgeous products.

  3. Ever since the Saved by the Bell episode where they stayed overnight in the mall, I've always wanted to sleep in a store. :)

  4. Wow! Just amazing. I want to fly back to Paris just to check out this store. I have to laugh because I have always found grocery stores uncomfortably cold. I hated shopping with my mom when I was young because it felt like years before she was done in the freezer dept. Figures ...... frozen dinners were a big thing in the 70s :-)

  6. I love when stores (and restaurants) are designed with a "homey" feel. Hmm, they r lucky that they don't have beds/pillows r we may be tempted to get 'settled' in for a little snooze ;)

  8. Oh, how I would love to design and style a retail space. I think it's so important to create an inviting and memorable shopping space/experience. This shop ticks all the boxes. x
