Monday snoop–everything is better in the sunshine…

If you visit my little corner of the internet on a regular basis, you will no doubt know that I can seldom resist posting about a country cottage… even more so if the said cottage is in a sun-drenched part of the world. And you really can’t get any more sun-drenched than Australia’s Sunshine Coast. Let me introduce you to this lovingly restored 1944 weatherboard house filled with natural light, classic furniture pieces and one the cutest dogs I have ever seen.

    What a cozy place. And who wouldn't love to have oranges, pigs and chickens the backyard? It is the perfect virtual escape on a cold Monday morning...

    i could live in australia. and i think i could just go ahead and live in this cottage here for awhile. you, by the way, find the best cottages! that doggie, ah! cuteness overload! i really want to rub his belly. i'll take the pig and chickens too. where do i sign the lease?

    I luv that u post about country cottages - it's my mini vacation when I visit ur blog ;) The dogs r cute, the cat looks like a diva star, but I am smitten with the chubby wubby pig. As for the home - adorable ... I was taken aback by the mirror reflection on the stove/oven (brilliant!).

    Love the Sunshine Coast. We stayed in Mooloolaba on our last visit and it was magic. What a gorgeous house, and the little schnauzer is adorable too. x
