Have I mentioned I had a wonderful weekend? Yes? Well you could be hearing about it for some time yet. It actually started on Friday – we decided to take the day off as Jordan was due to receive his final exam results that morning at some ungodly hour. We knew we would spend the night tossing and turning and true to form, we barely slept a wink. Apart from the fact that he has spent 3 very long and hard years working towards this impossible degree (whilst working full time), we had a few other life-changing decisions riding on his results (so no pressure then). So you can imagine our reaction as Jord bolted up in bed to check his email with me bleary eyed and scrambling behind him to read over his shoulder that not only had he passed, he totally killed it! The relief was so immense that almost immediately, the ever-present worry rings under his eyes seem to have totally vanished. As for me, well there was a whole lot of attractive joyous sobbing. So changes are coming and hopefully coming soon. I’m terrified and stressed but also overwhelmingly happy and excited… oh and let’s not forget very very proud.
I haven’t had time to go through all the photos we took but here is a little taster of what we saw…
