Kitchens are by far one of my favourite things to blog about. If there were more hours in the day and I had 8 arms instead of 2, I am sure that I would have a separate blog totally devoted to my love of all things kitchen. I guess my addiction stems from the fact that my kitchen never feels fully furnished, there is always something I want to add or change or move around. I’m always looking for the next best thing, latest gadget or the newest trends. At the moment, it’s colourful and vibrant kitchen islands that are catching my eye.
Only I just can’t seem to narrow them down…
I really want to paint our oak kitchen cream but my hubs is not a fan of painting wood:( gorgeous photos!

Grey!!! That is a fabulous kitchen.
ReplyDeletethe grey one is for me!
ReplyDeleteI love this, we're just thinking about a kitchen like this but it never occurred to me to change the colour (sounds silly that I didn't think of that I know!)
ReplyDeleteLove the grey!
I love the grey one - everything about it is gorgeous and it's versatile too as you could so easily change the look with accessories.

I like the grey because it's neutral, but I have a soft spot for that yellow. So cheery!
ReplyDeleteI wish I had an island in my kitchen. A spacious kitchen is such a luxury and I would love to try my cooking talent in one. :)
ReplyDeleteAll beautiful, but I prefer the grey! I have an island, it is white, but it's marble top makes it bright enough for me.
ReplyDeleteLove, love, love the grey! I want one!
ReplyDeleteI love the bright yellow island in the white kitchen. It makes the kitchen special!
ReplyDeletei actually really like all of them, well except purple that doesn't seem too kitcheny - but if i had to choose i would go with the grey even though i'd really want to pick the yellow ; )
ReplyDeletePurple islands?! I've never seen that before! I really like how bright and cheerful the yellow is.
ReplyDeleteI love kitchens as well! I think they are the heart of the home and I always feel very comforted being in the kitchen with the whir of the dishwasher etc. x
ReplyDeleteWhy is it that you always have the best posts right when I have to run out the door?! ;) I still need to go back and peruse that gorgeous "white house" post you did a bit ago (I've missed a lot due to our little vacay). These islands are gorgeous. Just stunning. And really inspiring too, which will KILL my husband. Our kitchen is gray with a big stainless island...the body of which is painted a dark brown. Now, I'm tempted to paint it bright yellow or purple. And that's why my husband will kill me!
ReplyDeleteOooo! I love the gray and the purple! :)
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I'd love to have a kitchen big enough for an island bench. Love the soft duck egg blue one. x
ReplyDeleteI am loving ....... um lusting after the first kitchen. BUT I have to say that a bright and cheerful yellow kitchen reminds me of the olden days. How can you not be in a good mood first thing in the morning while preparing your coffee in that yellowy goodness?
ReplyDeleteI cant decide between grey and purple islands, I think I will take purple with grey marble on it : )
