I guess when you live in a city as vast as London, you are bound not to have seen all of it (even if the subject of this post is no more than 15 minutes away from your front door)! I can’t say for certain whether London will be my home forever so Jordan and I have started a London bucket list to ensure we get out and see as much of this incredible city as possible before it is time to move on. Battersea Park has been on this list for ages and I am so glad that we visited on a beautiful autumn day. The cold weather is starting to settle in for the long haul here in London but the real hunkering down has yet to begin. So on Saturday we took our camera and sushi (oh so civilized) and had a little walk-around in the fresh autumnal breeze amongst the leaves in the park which have just started to turn the faintest shade of gold.
Beautiful pics!! I was in London a couple of times, although the weather is gloomy and food is not that great, I really LOVE it :)
ReplyDeleteThank you so much for stopping by, hope you have a fabulous week<3

Lovely! You know how much I enjoy these posts. :)
ReplyDeleteGreat post. Just moved to London in August - loving it!
ReplyDeletebeautiful pics. I've lived in London twice. six years altogether. I've been doing stuff all the time. and it still feels like the list of things I haven't seen is longer than the list of thing I have seen...
ReplyDeleteit reminds me of central park a bit, but a little more forest-y.
ReplyDeleteGorgeous! I just want to frolic through all of that nature.
ReplyDeleteIt's always so thrilling to me that such beautiful rural escapes like this exist in urban environments. You'd never believe it! I love the big pine tree reflected in the water; that could be in a giant forest somewhere, not the middle of London! That sushi looks delicious, too.
ReplyDeleteThese are gorgeous shots and really making me want to visit London. It's on my wish list for December, we'll see if it happens!

I've only been to London once but I don't rememer it being so lush and gorgeous. What a gorgeous day that must have been for you!
ReplyDeleteOh so pretty, and your sushi looks yummy! Isn't it funny how you can live somewhere and not visit some of the places that tourists do?! Even in a small province like Hawke's Bay. The other day we played tourists and took the kids to places they'd never been although they're on our doorstep, it was so much fun. x
ReplyDeleteBeautiful! Your pictures are seriously amazing :)
