One of the best things about our hotel in the Maldives was that we had an open-air bathroom. One half containing the sink and toilet were partially covered by the roof and the other half containing the bath and the shower were completely out in the open. Showering outdoors during the monsoon, or on a clear night gazing at the stars and bats is an experience that I won’t soon forget. An outdoor shower has now moved to the top of my must-have list for my future dream home (in a hotter climate of course).
What do you think of outdoor showers? Do you have one?

This sounds good. I Like the semicircular white one and I imagine it in an idyllic place, where I would like to spend my holiday. :)
ReplyDeletei love them! lots of beach houses in america have them, they are the best.
ReplyDeleteSo cute! We had an outdoor shower when we lived at a little cottage near the beach. Such a great idea.
ReplyDeleteWe live in an apartment so don't have one. But it is definitely on the list for my dream home.
ReplyDeleteYES!!! On my dream home, there is a shower because one day I will live by the sea. I will take some of these pictures and pin them in my dream house beach house. I can just see the sunshine or stars above me.
ReplyDeleteI've got to guess that it takes some getting use to. But that's freedom alright!
ReplyDeleteLove outdoor showers but an outdoor bathtub would be my ultimate fantasy.
ReplyDeleteThese are all gorgeous. The closest we have is a hose! But we should have an outdoor shower for my surfing-mad hubby, and three little beach babes. x
