Sinking…

I was reading another blogger’s excitement over their new kitchen renovation which involved replacing their single sink with a double. Now, I have lived with a tiny awkward single sink for as long as I can remember (and no dishwasher) but after reading her excitement, I couldn’t help but envy the lifetime of dishwashing ease she would have. One thing led to another and of course I turned to Pinterest to fawn over my dream sinks ! I am just crazy over these deep farmhouse sinks!

  1. These double sinks r gorgeous! I used to have a double sink, but no dishwasher. Now, I have a single sink but no dishwasher :) .. I do prefer the dishwasher (one of the greatest invention EVER!!!) Great photo finds!! Thanks for sharing them. From all the kitchens, I especially love the colorful ones ... with splash of orange/red color .. so cheerful!!

  2. goodness gracious. it looks like that first kitchen was made for me. although my kitchen sink is big (and i have dishwasher), so no complaints here, my bathroom sink is do tiny my friends have dubbed it "a sink for ants". i mean seriously, it's big enough to put one hand in and that's it. you can win some but you can't win them all!

  7. I do love a good apron/farmhouse sink. I seem to be into metals a lot more lately and absolutely love the hammered metal piece..it is a modern take on the traditional.

  8. I got a double sink, but put a divider in it. How stupid was that?! If I'd only known then what I know now......

  9. There's no shame in your single sink! Lots of people prefer them. I would've gone with one willingly but my husband convinced me otherwise, and I told him - "Since you're doing all the dishwashing, you can choose." (Score.) :)

  10. I need to replace my current sink because it's ceramic and stains so easily. I will definitely be sourcing out one of these beauties as a replacement!!
