A splash of colour on a grey day…

Do your blog posts ever start around one picture? I came across the first picture of that stunning backless dress on Pinterest last night and I was so captivated by the colour and the texture that I built an entire post around it! I had some trouble defining the colour (I think it’s a sort of wine/magenta colour), and I realised that I don’t see nearly enough of it out and about. I am also totally nuts about the sea-green/blue colour just below – it’s so calming and serene!

Thanks for all the encouraging messages about my rocky start yesterday! Here’s hoping for a fabulous Thursday!

    Oh yes, they do. And believe me, if I'm in the mood and no one stops me, I can spend hours searching for a photo with that certain colour I want.

    Love the pink/magenta color and bougainvilleas. I've been drooling over a magenta DeLonghi kmix coffee maker, and I don't even need a coffee maker.

    Pinterest is just fabulous, but I'm so impressed with all the beautiful homes I see on there that it makes me what to redo everything again! It's very good for setting the bar ever-higher, I think...

    Both color sets are AMAZING!!!! So beautiful and elegant. And is that a 'nest pendant lamp' ... interesting, never spotted that before. So nice to see a balance of home and fashion. I love it!!
