There is no rhyme or reason for this post… I just felt like posting a bit of colour to brighten up my day! I was going through some of my inspiration folders over the weekend and realised I save a lot of pictures featuring periwinkle blue. It’s the kind of colour that instantly uplifts my mood! Are you a fan of periwinkle? Would you use it in your home?
This has certainly brightened up my day. :)
ReplyDeleteMeghan, you've just received an award from me... check this out on my blog!

i am, but hadn't thought of it in years! is there a color with a better name? i don't think so.
ReplyDeleteI do like this color! I don't decorate much with it, but it makes me feel happy and a little bit nostalgic : )
ReplyDeleteGorgeous, yes love this colour. I'm not a huge purple fan, but there is just enough purple mixed with blue to make periwinkle soft and pretty. xxx
ReplyDeleteOoo these pictures are so pretty!!! i have to say I'm not the hugest fan of purple so I wouldn't use this in my house, but it's one of those things that I admire (if done right) in someone else's house.
ReplyDeletePeriwinkle blue, not purple hues is certainly my favorite color besides white. Those pictures are so gorgeous! I might just stare at these for awhile. Thanks for posting.
ReplyDeleteThis really brought a smile to my face. Periwinkle was my grandmas favorite color, she couldn't say enough good things about it. I am really enjoying your blog. Following you now through Bloglovin.

Love this post and this lovely colour! Don't use it often (I really should, it's beautiful!), but like to incorporate it with flowers sometimes.
