Even though Halloween in England is not really celebrated to the same extent as in the US, I was so inspired by all the festivity in blogland that we decided to carve our very first pumpkins! It felt really good to throw ourselves into the spirit of things. Along with carving pumpkins, we took a moment to notice the pleasant chill in the air and wrapped up warmly in front of classic Halloween slasher movies, enjoyed an afternoon run in the park with yellow, orange and red leaves floating in our path, and of course, eating endless variations of pumpkin! How did you/will you celebrate Halloween?
I thought I would leave you with some absolutely stunning Second Empire architecture. This is probably one of my favourite architectural styles as it manages to make me swoon and give me the chills at the same time!
maybe it's the halloween spirit, but all of those houses look like they would be great haunted houses. and your pumpkins look amazing!
ReplyDeleteI don't celebrate Halloween, but always enjoy a little inspiration. Have a beautiful week!
