I have been a bad blogger lately, but truth be told, life has been a little manic and as a result, I have been feeling a little uninspired. That’s all about to change with this fabulous pool house I found in Connecticut. I have a very precise picture in my head of my dream house (and yes, there are several million versions of it) but this house comes pretty close to what I want. Rustic, charming and beautiful – it ticks all the boxes for me! I am picturing myself having a glass of champagne in that limestone tub and relaxing with friends by that pool. Note to self: get beautiful big tree to put in the middle of my living room!

Wow! I can certainly see why you love it. I think that is so amazing when the indoor living areas can open up completely to the outdoor areas as they do here - gorgeous!

ReplyDeleteIt's really a charming home. I just imagined myself waking up, looking outside, and seeing the pool from my window. How I wish I could afford this kind of house right now.
ReplyDelete“…life has been a little manic and as a result, I have been feeling a little uninspired.”—Well, it happens, especially when your days are getting a little monotonous. But I must say, nobody’s gonna be uninspired again if you have a beautiful house like that! I like the architecture and the interior design. It’s both comfortable and charming.

We get inspired when we talk about our dreams, Meghan; it’s the best cure to writer’s block. Now about that dream home of yours, I agree that it’s “rustic, charming and beautiful”. Few of adjectives I might add are marvelous, splendid, sophisticated, and classy and many more positive words you can come up with when describing a wonderful home. =)
