Since pesky work prevents me from flying to Morocco today, I thought I would bring Morocco to me! Lately, I have been seeing Moroccan trinkets, furniture and textiles popping up in shops everywhere… and there will be no complaints from me! I am drawn to the delicate detailing of the metal lanterns, the intricate patterns on the textiles and the curved arches of the furniture legs. Really, if I had my way, our house would resemble a Bedouin tent (ooooh, now I am getting ideas for the garden!)

My favorite country...ever. Our house has tons of Moroccan art from our travels there. Such a beautiful country...although Marrakesh was my least favorite....so blazing hot there I almost died!
