White seems to have made a big appearance this summer so I thought I would jump on the bandwagon and post some of my favourite white goodies. I must admit that white is not a colour that features hugely in my home - not because I don’t like it - it just tends to act as a homing beacon for things like wine, coffee, chocolate and tomato sauce. So I have purposely chosen things that could probably survive a couple of months in our house, well except for the lace tablecloth, that was just pure wishful thinking!

I love white for the home. It just makes the room brighter, cleaner and more airy. I like it in the bedroom. White sheets make me feel happy.

I hear ya on the "magnet for stains"...but it definitely didn't keep me from making my MBR pretty much all white (c: However, I have a dog and two small children and it definitely takes a beating!!! Love the inspiration board!

I'm so drawn to white, sometimes i have to remind myself to add color :) That mug is adorable, and that Zara Home frame makes me sad we don't have Zara Home in the US!
ReplyDeletei saw that mug and actually said a, "ohh, ahhh" in my head :) it's fun simplicity. i prefer whites with shades of gray or tan... love what you've found though, when i got married i registered for crisp and clean standard white plates and bowls

Love the cushion and the lanterns! It's funny because I don't have much white in my home either (maybe it's because we had a black lab that sheds like crazy) but I have a ton of dishes and serving platters in white - such a beautiful basic that works year round!
